This week, one of the holiest weeks of the year, people of faith will be observing Passover and Easter. This is true even in Haiti, where the faith of the Haitian people has been tested.
We find this dedication and new hope expressed by the Haitian people inspiring to us. People more fortunate than those in Haiti are continuing every day to be tapped to take their own faith and put it into action.
While spring is a time of growth and new "tap" moments for many, this spring is a time of continuing concern for Haiti, as it ushers in the torrential Caribbean rainy season. The season pushes the urgency to provide emergency shelter for the millions of Haitians who remain homeless.
Because of this, the Caring House Project remains focused on providing tents (10 x 20 that will house a family of 8) to provide temporary shelter. Please listen to my personal message on how you can help provide this fantastic form of shelter to families in Haiti.
