The “Yugo We-go” Nationwide Pre-Release Book Tour

As part of the writing process for my new book (my 7th – title coming soon), I recently finished the odyssey known as the 22-city, 6,288-mile “Yugo We-go Tour.” Yep, that’s a pic of the “tour bus” in Death Valley, CA – 3,000+ miles away from FL. It’s my 1988, 61-horsepower Yugo (made in Yugoslavia) with 115k mikes on it. Both the country and car company are out of business. Google Yugo…

Since book #7 is a mindset book I decided to leave my oceanfront treehouse office where I had started to write my new book and interview America, gathering valuable grassroots input as I traversed the country. Thanks Chris Igoe of Igoe Home Group for donating to our Caring House Project to be the tour’s title sponsor! Yugo, We-go, Igoe – just perfect!

Yugo on Aspire Tour

I interviewed people at churches, homeless shelters, cemeteries, soup kitchens, funerals (crashed one), political rallies, schools, public parks and hospitals. When the book is released in 2021 I’ll recreate the same route for the book tour, delivering copies of my new book to those who helped me write it. Soon you’ll also have a chance to contribute to a readers-only chapter (#24). The image below is the Yugo going over the 12,100′ Independence Pass in Colorado.

Cities the Yugo We-go Tour stopped in: Delray Beach FL, Orlando FL, Tallahassee FL, Mobile AL, New Orleans LA, Dallas TX, Amarillo TX, Albuquerque NM, Sedona AZ, Flagstaff AZ, Las Vegas NV, Death Valley CA (of course), Salt Lake City UT, Aspen CO, Manitou Springs CO, Dodge City KS, Tulsa OK, Little Rock AR, Memphis TN, Atlanta GA, Ocoee FL – then back to Delray Beach.

I named the tour the “Yugo We-go Tour” because as you go, we all go (the image below is just a placeholder). When you read my new book in 2021 you’ll learn how to create your own reality, alter your DNA and see the true impact your aspirations can have on this beautiful world. Finally, my ‘88 Yugo is probably the most imperfect tour bus in the history of history, yet, with belief and faith, it somehow made it across the country and back. “The little Yugo that could” – maybe a great kids book?
